A weekend of fantastic food

I can’t quite believe the summer holidays are drawing to an end already. I think it is only right that we fill this weekend with all the food we possibly can.

Friday Night

Aptly starting off at The White Horse with their end of summer BBQ down at their marshside bar, the weather is looking pretty changeable which could lead to an epic sunset. Expect the freshest seafoods, meats and delicious salads washed down with Nyetimber Champagne of course – Cheers!

There are so many great food options this weekend because the North Norfolk Food and Drink Festival is on – awoo! The festival takes place in the spectacular setting of the Walled Garden at Holham Hall. An abundancy of local products will be for sale with over 60 local food and drink producers showcasing the best of what they offer, as well as a jampacked schedule in the cookery theatre and liv entertainment.

The festival is open from 10am but of course, if you need a coffee and pastry fix before then, the Creake Abbey Farmers market returns as it is the first Saturday of the month and that is open from 09:30am. As a true foodie I am expecting to end up going to both and eating all the food!

IF you are still not totally satisfied the very tasty Wood Fired Food Co. Pizzas who are at Deepdale Camping this weekend from 5:30pm. The Nduja and honey pizza is sensational.

Roast dinner anyone? As we know North Norfolk has some fantastic pubs offering delicious roast dinners so I think it is only right we end our foodie weekend with a trip to one of them. Perhaps The Hero in Burnham Overy or Barsham Arms in Barsham? So.Many.Options!

Happy Eating.
