Spotlight: An (epic) weekend of markets

It’s Thursday so we can totally start thinking about weekend plans right? This weekend we are treated to not one, but two great local markets and I for one will be at both!

Freshly Baked Goods from a Norfolk Farmers Market

First up we have Creake Farmers Market.

If you were to build a market fit for a movie set it would be here. Piles of fresh bread adore counters, thirst quenching juices and ciders readily available, stunning homemade cakes impossible to leave behind, local meats, local cheeses, local fruit and veg - it’s all there and in the stunning setting of Creake Abbey, just a few minutes outside Burnham Market.

This is a monthly market on the first Saturday of every month so if you can’t head there this weekend pop it in the diary for August.

In round two we say hello to The Holt’s Sunday Market.

This beautifully curated market is bursting with independent makers and bustling with a beautiful sense of community. This market is the kind of place you go for an hour and stay for the day. Packed with craftspeople, designers, makers, food producers and street food traders be sure to have a list of people you need to buy gifts for, an empty stomach and a dance move or two to show the buskers your appreciation.

Great news, this is also a monthly market, on the first Sunday of every month.
