PARTY TIIIIIIIIME! The original seaside holiday destination is having a week long party and we are all invited.
Cromer Carnival has been in the diary for hundreds of years and is now a staple in the Summer holiday calendar, with visitors coming year after year for the jam-packed week of fun. Kicking off on Saturday 12th August with the main event - Carnival day on Wednesday 16th August.
In the lead up to carnival day there are all kinds of events suitable for all ages from cheese and wine tasting to a Knobbly Knees competition (I genuinely didn’t make that up!).
The big day starts at 9:30am on Carnival field where you will find food, drinks and entertainment, it has also been confirmed that The Red Arrows (how cool!) will be doing a display at 12:30pm (weather permitting) and the parade is due to begin 7pm. There really is a whole day of fun to be hand with many of the local businesses getting involved.
A personal favourite event of the week is the torchlight parade happening on Thursday 17th August with illuminated floats & umbrellas from 7:30pm and the parade from 8:30pm featuring a steel band. The whole evening comes to a close with an epic fireworks display at 9:15pm (ish)
More details can be found on the Cromer Carnival website and facebook page.
Happy Carnivaling!
