Now in its 140th year, the Sandringham Flower Show on Wednesday 26th July is going to be a feast for the eyes. The prestigious event takes place in the magnificent grounds of The Royal Household, a sight in its own right.

The family friendly day out is packed with things to do so why not join the 20,000 strong visitors for a blooming brilliant day out.
Many of the region's best nurseries and horticultural specialists create displays with the aim of securing the gold! The gardens are judged on show day by top television gardening presenters Chris Beardshaw and Alan Mason.
There are trade stands, a craft marquee, live music and children’s entertainment. I personally can’t wait to see the Red Devils Parachute display over in the main arena and I will be eating lunch beside the band stand.
The Royal Marquees are where the competitions really heat up, with vegetables, floral art, preserves, baking and fruits entered by local residents, as well as some open ‘on the day’ categories if you are feeling adventurous.
The Gardeners Forum features live talks from many famous faces in the business and traditionally the Royal Patrons make an appearance.
It is promised to be a lovely, wholesome day out for the whole gang.
Tickets are £20 on the day or £18 in advance and gates open at 9am.
